Prohibited Use Policy
A. Interpretation of This Prohibited Use Policy
All terms used in this Prohibited Use Policy that are defined in the Hibt Terms of Use (the “Terms of Use”) shall have the same meaning and construction as in the Terms of Use.
To the extent you are a customer or user of our services, this Prohibited Use Policy applies in conjunction with any terms and other contractual documents, including but not limited to any agreements we may have with you.
Your Hibt Account must not be used in any manner that violates public interests, public morals, or the legitimate interests of others, including any actions that may interfere with, disrupt, negatively affect, or prevent other users from accessing Hibt Services.
B. Abuse of Services
It is strictly prohibited to use Hibt Services in a manner that leads to the degradation, disruption, or impairment of service quality or that tampers with other users’ experiences. This includes engaging in activities that contravene laws and regulations, are harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, infringing, insulting, or otherwise violate the legal rights of others. Examples include, but are not limited to, the promotion, facilitation, generation, or distribution of spam, the creation of content for deceptive or fraudulent activities, scams, phishing, or malware, market abuse or manipulation (including pump-and-dump schemes, self-trading, front-running, quote stuffing, spoofing, layering, wash trading, or matched trading), the dissemination of false or misleading information with the intent to influence or distort prices, coordinated or group-based misconduct (such as using multiple accounts to evade risk controls or manipulate market conditions), and any fraudulent or dishonest conduct (such as providing false, misleading, or incomplete information or using fake identities).
C. Financial Misconduct
Engaging in fraudulent transactions, trading in prohibited goods—including narcotics or certain controlled substances, products that pose a risk to consumer safety, items that encourage, promote, facilitate, or instruct others to engage in illegal activities, illegally imported or exported goods and services, stolen goods (including digital and virtual goods), regulated products such as tobacco, e-cigarettes, age-restricted goods or services, weapons and munitions—money laundering, financing terrorist activities, or participating in any other form of financial misconduct on the Hibt Platform is strictly forbidden. This includes, without limitation, market manipulation, misuse of Hibt Services (such as exploiting system vulnerabilities or pricing anomalies), coordinated trading strategies designed to disadvantage others or circumvent limits, and any fraudulent or dishonest conduct as described above.
D. False Representation
Any actions that imitate or impersonate any person or entity, falsely claim affiliations, or involve unauthorized access to the accounts of others are strictly prohibited. The use of Hibt Services for resale or commercial purposes, including conducting transactions on behalf of other persons or entities, is prohibited unless expressly authorized by Hibt in writing.
E. Restricted Persons and Prohibited Countries
The Hibt Platform must not be used in contravention of any jurisdiction’s sanctions or export control laws or regulations. This includes any prohibited activities involving Restricted Persons or territories listed in the Prohibited Countries List, as determined at Hibt’s sole discretion.
F. Violations Impacting Public Interest
The use of the Hibt Platform to conduct activities that harm the public interest is unacceptable. Such activities include those that may potentially harm society, spread misinformation, or adversely affect societal welfare.
G. Violations of Public Morals
Activities considered a transgression against public morals—including, but not limited to, the creation, distribution, or possession of obscene and sexually oriented materials, adult content and services, or child sexual abuse material—which encompasses any content, materials, or information related to the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors, are prohibited in accordance with applicable laws.
H. Promotion of Hate
The promotion of hate, discrimination, or violence in any form—including hate speech based on race, gender identity, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic protected under applicable law—is prohibited.
I. Access and Security Violations
Unless expressly permitted, the use of any deep linking, web crawlers, bots, spiders, automated devices, programs, scripts, algorithms, or similar manual processes to access, obtain, copy, monitor, replicate, or bypass the navigational structure or presentation of Hibt Services is prohibited. Unauthorized attempts to access any part of the Hibt Platform—including through hacking, password mining, or other unlawful means—are strictly forbidden. Additionally, probing, scanning, or testing vulnerabilities; violating security or authentication measures; conducting reverse look-ups or tracking of other users’ information; imposing an unreasonable load on Hibt’s infrastructure; interfering with the normal operation of Hibt Services or transactions; and forging headers or impersonating others to disguise the origin of communications or messages are all prohibited.
Users must not modify, adapt, combine, disassemble, decompile, reverse-engineer, copy, replicate, transmit, alter, or otherwise exploit any part of the Hibt Platform. Introducing viruses, malware, or any harmful code; using anonymizing proxies or disposable email addresses to access services; bypassing robot exclusion protocols; or taking any action that may cause Hibt to lose services from its providers is also prohibited.
Violations of this Prohibited Use Policy are considered serious offenses, and Hibt reserves the right to take appropriate actions against offenders, including termination and suspension of access to Hibt Services or pursuing legal action if deemed necessary.
